We live in a world where it has become ok to start slut shaming and tearing a woman’s reputation apart. We have the power to take our names back and stand up for ourselves and who we truly are.
We are not our past. Some women think that once they made a name for themselves that’s all they have to be. You can move forward from that. You are not the names you have been called, the names you have answered to, nor the names you believe you are. You are so much more than that.
No matter what you have done in your past, you are more than that. You owe no one an explanation for your change or you path to become who you are. We own our sexual experience and our lives. It’s time to take them back and take power of who we are.
Who are we? We are queens, mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, lovers, wives, and girlfriends. Yet those are labels, who we are is who is inside us. Its constantly evolving and growing. What someone said about you yesterday shouldn’t affect your today.
See every day we have a new chance to get things right (as my boy Dom says). So, your mistakes of a yesterday will only fuel your power and magic for the upcoming days. So, someone is talking mess about you? The way you react defines you, not the words someone called you. So you got in trouble with the law last year? Handle it and still walk in your purpose.
TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK!
Nobody deserves to have a hold over you. If the relationship, friendship, or situation-ship is toxic, leave it. No matter what holds you, scares you, or makes you feel like you’re stuck. There is always a way to take control and power of you and your life back. Never give up, because there is always a way, don’t stop looking for it. It may not be immediate, but you will get your life back.
